Lynette Key, a volunteer from Assistance League of Los Gatos-Saratoga, assembles STEM kits for students in the Campbell Union School District to use with their distance learning curriculum. The league was recently awarded a service medal by Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian for its continuing efforts to keep students engaged in science and technology while distance learning during the pandemic.
The league provided 34,000 STEM kits for 8,000 students in the Campbell Union School District to complete several different projects at home with guidance from their teachers.
