Christmas filled the air at Assistance League of Montgomery County as members prepared merchandise for the annual Christmas Preview which took place on November 12th.
A record number of tickets were sold for this year’s event, so when the doors opened that evening, shoppers filled the Thrift Shop which had been transformed into a holiday wonderland of lights and sounds surrounding shelf after shelf of one of a kind items that included Santa Claus figures, angels, nutcrackers, wreaths, ornaments, and trees of all sizes. Shoppers found an array of brand-new items, along with vintage collectibles that had been gathered throughout the year, and they enjoyed tax-free shopping all evening long.
When sales were tallied for the evening, over $6500. was raised for our programs. What a great way to begin the season of giving!
