Montgomery County – Family Promise recognizes Assistance League as Nonprofit Partner of the Year

Family Promise recognizes Assistance League Montgomery County as Nonprofit Partner of the Year.

Assistance League was honored to be recognized as Nonprofit Partner of the Year by Family Promise at their gala held on October 23 in The Woodlands. The award was presented by Family Promise’s Executive Director Marilyn Kasmiersky. Receiving this award are Assistance League President Becky Page and Caring and Sharing Committee Chairman Donna Gement.

Assistance League provides a number of services to Family Promise through various philanthropic programs. Our Caring and Sharing program provides “Welcome Home Baskets” to families when they move into their own housing following completion of the Family Promise program. Other items this program may provide to families are clothing vouchers, backpacks and school supplies. Our Fans For Friends program provides fans and blankets to Family Promise participants. Poison Information-Always Ask ™ presents their poisoning prevention program to the families and our Passports program provides health record booklets.
