Northern Virginia – Engages Community Volunteers is Weekend Food for Kids Program

Assistance League of Northern Virginia needs volunteers for programs that provide clothing and help educate, feed and nurture those in need. Volunteers also are needed to help pack food for the Weekend Food for Kids program, which benefits schoolchildren who receive reduced-price meals during the week. The next food-packing is Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. Dominion Virginia Headquarters, 3072 Centreville rd., Herndon.
