Assistance League of Northern Virginia was thrilled to be selected for Ono Brewing Company’s Tips to Charity program. Through this initiative, co-owners Cyndi and Scott Hoffman, and their employees, donate 50% of tips to local causes that serve vulnerable communities. Ono’s generous donation is greatly appreciated. The funds will be used to purchase essential new clothing and shoes for very needy elementary school children at nine schools located in Fairfax and Prince William Counties and the City of Alexandria. With the funds received, Assistance League will be able to purchase more than 250 items of clothing (t-shirts, pants, socks, underwear, sweatshirts, and coats), and approximately 40 pairs of new shoes.
Assistance League is extremely grateful for the opportunity to partner with Ono Brewing Company, a family-owned and operated brewery with a unique tropical tasting room and self-serve beer wall. Since its establishment in 2017, Ono has raised more than $53,000 for local charities. Thank you, Ono Brewing Company, for giving back so generously to our community.
