The Assistance League of Reno-Sparks and the Nevada Chapter of the Associated General Contractors completed a two-month toiletry drive to assist Washoe County’s in-need senior citizens through the Assistance League’s Senior Food Pantry and Grooming Kits programs.
Members of Nevada Chapter AGC Community Outreach Committee presented the collected toiletries to Assistance League members and senior recipients in the Food Pantry program.
The donated toiletries will be assembled into grooming kits that Assistance League’s Senior Food Pantry program distributes along with basic food items to more than 400 in-need senior citizens once per month through the Washoe County Senior Services Center.
The Nevada Chapter AGC’s Community Outreach Committee managed the collection event across the region, collecting nearly a truckload of basic toiletry items during the drive.
