Santa Clarita – Red Dress Project

We stand together! The Assistance League of Santa Clarita proudly honored the SCV Red Dress Project of the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley. The Assistance League of Santa Clarita Resale Store displayed red dresses, along with information about the SCV Red Dress Project through the 16 Days of Activism, November 25th-December 10th.

The purpose of the SCV Red Dress Project is to raise awareness about the impact of domestic violence in the community and to increase local advocacy to eliminate violence against women. The red dresses encourage community members to remember and honor those in the Santa Clarita Valley that have lost their lives as the result of domestic violence. Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley President Nicole Miller shared, “Organizations working together on a cause increases the impact and reach of our advocacy in the community.” Zonta members were thrilled to partner with the Assistance League to serve their community members.
