On May 24, Assistance League of Santa Monica received the Very Special Person Award from the Santa Monica-Malibu PTA Council for their volunteer service to the PTA by providing college and trade school scholarships to Santa Monica and Olympic High Schools. President Anne Salenger attended the Awards & Installation Breakfast when the award was presented. Since the program began in 2001, more than $800,000 in scholarship awards have been given.
Later that day the Scholarship Committee attended the Meet & Greet prior to the Senior Scholarship and Honors Program at Santa Monica High School where 11 of the 13 recipients attended. We are proud of all our scholars and appreciate the recognition by the PTA Council.
