Assistance League of Southwest Washington is holding a Garden Fest and Plant Sale on Saturday, Apr. 28, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Featured will be beautiful hanging baskets, potted plants, hybrid tomato plants and succulents as well as a boutique with handmade placemats, outdoor pillows and items to decorate any outdoor space.
Assistance League is an all-volunteer chapter of National Assistance League organization formed in 1935. In addition to reaching out to children in local schools, Assistance League raises funds to provide new clothing to hundreds of children placed in foster care.
