Montgomery County – Press Release on Make A Difference Day

In support of “Make a Difference Day,” Assistance League of Montgomery County participated by having a children’s book drive on Thursday evening, October 27th; Assistance League members welcomed 35 teachers from across Montgomery County to their facility. After browsing grade level displays, each teacher selected approximately 50 donated books to be added to their classroom libraries. Thanks to the overwhelming support of Montgomery County residents, the organization surpassed 3,400 donated books collected. A special thank you is given to all who supported the book drive. It was a resounding success!
