Coming to You From a Sound-Proof Booth in Annapolis!

Assistance League of the Chesapeake on WNAV radio's The 1430 Connection with Donna Cole

Kids In Need chair Marie Bossie and I spent a half-hour together late last month in a sound-proof booth! We were at the WNAV radio station being interviewed by Donna Cole for her program, “1430 Connection with Donna Cole.” The program aired on July 7. Though I was nervous in the beginning, talking about one of my favorite topics put me at ease. It was a lot of fun talking about uniforms, sing-alongs, tutoring, puppets, books, and the Stork’s Nest Baby Shower. We were told that the interview would take about 25 minutes, but it sped by and felt like five.

We appreciate that Donna gave us the chance to talk about Assistance League of the Chesapeake and how we serve the community. We also got to plug our Dining for Dollars events and our participation in the October 6 First Sunday Annapolis festival.

The photo above shows Marie, me, and Donna Cole.
