Georgetown East Holiday Shop

Time to be determined.

Volunteers are still welcome! If you want to bring a friend or friends, that’s fine, too. It’s a great way to introduce them to what we do! If you can give time at each school that would be wonderfully appreciated!

Please contact Linda LaCroix at beachbums87@icloud.com for Georgetown East, or Marty Sippel at marty.sippel@gmail.com for Meade Heights.

Items Needed for Both Holiday Shops

The shops depend on donations for the items they “sell”! Items can be from your home, but should be in nearly-new (i.e., “pristine”!) condition. Items may also be purchased; it’s up to you, but we do need items for both schools.

Please gather items which you buy or find in your home, and save them for the shop.

We will be collecting them in December closer to the sale dates. The schools have limited storage space, so, please do your buying and collecting now, and then check the Monday Minute for collection dates when they’re announced.

All kinds of items are needed, but we always run short on items for men and older (teenage) boys.

Items should be small-medium in size, since the students have to carry them home with them.

Wrapping Materials

In addition to gift items, there is always a need for wrapping materials:

Gift bags, tissue paper, wrapping paper, and boxes are needed.

Please start saving the small-medium (Amazon) boxes that are delivered to your house!

Shopping bags, as well as paper grocery bags with handles, are welcome for transporting the gifts home.
