For the past 53 years, Hospitality House has provided meals and social activities for Senior citizens to enhance their daily lives.  In the last three years we have expanded our meal program to the Denver community to help those who are experiencing homelessness and food insecurities.  Our volunteers prepare and serve hot meals, sack lunches, and provide activities which increase socialization in a safe environment.  .

Hospitality House

18 million children face food insecurity, estimated one in four children nationwide.  Our mission, Blessings in a Backpack, is to mobilize communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends.  Students receive their food bag on Friday before heading home.  Close to 75% of the cost for this program is provided by personal donations.

In the past year,  we have been able to provide brown bag lunches to the Senior Resource Center, The Gathering Place, Urban Peak and Blessings in a Backpack.    We will continue our partnership with Denver Archdiocese low income facilities, Cathedral and Marian Plaza.
