Assistance League Schools

Assistance League Schools provides eight public schools in Denver and Aurora with school clothing, fine arts and literacy programs, and family enrichment. Our goal is to make a substantial impact on student success by collaborating with school personnel to determine how to best meet student and family needs. Operation School Bell®

Through Operation School Bell students are provided with new school clothes, health kits, and books. This program eliminates barriers by meeting basic needs of students.

Arts for Kids

Arts for Kids brings fine art programs including music, dance and theatrical productions to Denver and Aurora Public School children.

Scholarship

Provides scholarships to deserving students at Community College of Denver, Community College of Aurora and Pickens Technical College to help offset costs of tuition, books, and/or student fees so students can stay in school.

Hospital Equipment Lending Program (HELP)

Our Hospital Equipment Lending Program loans durable medical equipment at no cost to ease the financial burden of surgeries and illnesses.

Senior Programs

Through our Senior Programs we provide celebrations and activities at a Medicaid nursing facility and host a Bingo luncheon at our event center. These allow for socialization and companionship in a safe environment.

Assault Survivor Kits®

Our Assault Survivor Kits offer hope and dignity to victims by providing new clothing and toiletries through partnerships with area hospitals.

Assistance League Denver of Officer Bear (ALDO Bear)

Distributes Teddy Bears to comfort children in crisis through area paramedics and a pediatric oncology facility.
