New School Clothes for 3,600 Children

Our Operation School Bell® program provides new school clothes for children in grades TK-5. Parents of children in uniform schools place orders for new uniforms and shoes that our volunteers assemble and deliver in personalized totes.  For nonuniform schools, children and their parents shop with our volunteers for new clothes at Burlington in Pleasant Hill.  This school year was very successful.  We supplied uniforms and shopped for 3,600 students in grades TK-5.  Our program also supplied clothing for unhoused youth in our county in grades TK-12.

This program is funded by proceeds from our thrift shop in Lafayette and by contributions and grants from donors and community partners.  Please join them and offer your support by clicking on the Donate button at the top of this page.

Thank you for another great year!
