Assistance League Diablo Valley helps those in need or at risk in Contra Costa County

Assistance League Diablo Valley is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through philanthropic programs in Contra Costa County.

Last  year, 450 dedicated member volunteers contributed over 33,000 hours of service, and touched the lives of 10,000 children and adults in Contra Costa County.

Our Assisteens® Auxiliary is a group of 60 teenage member volunteers in 7th through 12 grades who raise their own funds and select their own philanthropic programs to serve.  They are learning the value of volunteering and community involvement, as well as organizational skills.

Assistance League Thrift Shop at the Way Side Inn in Lafayette is the main source of funding.  The shop is staffed and managed entirely by member volunteers.
