On October 8, thirty-six school children and their parents from the Martinez and Mount Diablo Unified School Districts shopped at Burlington Pleasant Hill as part of our Operation School Bell^® program. Volunteers from Assistance League Diablo Valley were joined by our community partner: Martinez Refinery who provided 6 volunteers to help in the shopping.  Each excited child shopped for new school clothes valued at $125.00
