Diablo Magazine Threads of Hope honors Assistance League Diablo Valley volunteer Karen Douglas.  Karen has volunteered with our orgainzation for 23 years.  She helps to staff and manage our thrift shop in Lafayette, and has served on a variety of committees.

Karen was nominated by Choice in Aging for whom she is a  board member and a tireless advocate. Her nomination included recognition for her efforts and dedication to Assistance League, Hospice and Make a Wish.
