In 1997 Assistance League Downey built the Housing of Medical Emergencies (H.O.M.E.) facility.  It is a 10-unit apartment complex adjacent to Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. The complex provides temporary, low-cost housing to families who have loved ones in rehabilitation care.  There is a manager living on the premises and members volunteer in the office on weekdays.

COST OR FEES

$10/night plus a non-refundable $20.00 cleaning fee if staying over 2 weeks

  For family or friends of patients who are staying at Rancho Los Amigos rehab center with referral from Rancho.
