In spite of the rain, Assistance League of Northern Virginia’s (ALNV) last ‘Weekend Food for Kids’ food packing, with our sponsor Dominion Energy, was truly a red letter day! We had a terrific turnout! An enthusiastic and bubbly group from Target joined us for the first time, wearing their bright red t-shirts with their Target logo. ALNV membership also had a good turnout.

Our thanks go to all the volunteers for generously giving of their time. The packing of non-perishable food bags is designed to supplement food on the weekends for children from six Title I schools.
