Assistance League of Northern Virginia is a chapter of Assistance League, a national organization that has 22,000 members in 120 chapters throughout the United States. Each chapter determines which local community needs to address and focuses its efforts on those needs, raising funds locally and spending them in the community. We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization transforming lives and strengthening our community through philanthropic programs in the Northern Virginia area. Our member volunteers are dedicated to ongoing support and have provided a lasting presence in our community through hands-on involvement and innovative philanthropic programs.

Since being chartered in 2004, Assistance League of Norther Virginia’s member volunteers have consistently provided quality service to children in communities throughout Northern Virginia.
