This month, we again packed 1,840 bags of nonperishable food and delivered them to 6 Title 1 elementary schools in Fairfax and Prince William counties.  As always, we were helped with this effort by our long-time partner, Dominion Energy, and community volunteers.

We also delivered 360 items of new, warm clothing to 5 schools, including sweaters, sweat pants, hoodies, and leggings, as well as undies and socks, as requested by the schools.  Our school counselors were very happy to receive these items.  Next month, we’ll begin distributing spring- and summer-weight clothing.  Our March Wish List features short-sleeved shirts for boys and girls.
