Member recruitment flier
Assistance League of Northern Virginia is always looking for caring people to join us in helping those most in need in our community.  We have scheduled several events at local libraries where our members will be available to showcase our programs and discuss the benefits of membership in Assistance League.
The first event is at the Chantilly Library, 4000 Stringfellow Rd., Chantilly, 20151, on Wednesday, March 30, from 11 am to 12:30 pm.  Join us there for an informal information session and learn how you can get involved and help.
For more than 18 years, our all-volunteer nonprofit organization has supported the most vulnerable in the area, especially elementary school students and their families, and new mothers.  Through our primary programs — Weekend Food for Kids, New Clothing for Kids, Literacy for Kids, and Operation Hugs — we feed, clothe, educate and comfort the most vulnerable in Northern Virginia.  We need members to carry out those programs and to help with the many behind-the-scenes tasks that are necessary to ensure that we are serving those who most need help and that our fund-raising efforts are sufficient to continue those efforts.
We are planning similar events in the coming weeks, at Tysons, Fairfax, and Burke libraries.   Email membership@alnv.org for more info on those events.
