Can you imagine having to share a toothbrush with your brother or sister?  Or not being able to brush regularly because your family can’t afford toothpaste?  Sadly, low-income children are often in need of toothbrushes and toothpaste because their families lack resources to provide these basic items that are essential for good oral hygiene.   Assistance League is working to address this need through its July Wish List featuring items to be included in colorful Bedtime Hugs Pillows.

These pillows, made from colorful kid-themed fabrics, are packed with two books, a toothbrush and toothpaste. The pillows are distributed to kindergarten students at the low-income schools we serve to help the children develop a bedtime routine of brushing and reading a book.  Use this link https://tiny.alnv.org/bedtime-hugs to make your selection or scan the QR code on the flyer.
