Charlotte Vaughn receives new Assistance League award

Charlotte Vaughn received the chapter’s first ever Anne Banning Leadership award, named for the founder of Assistance League. During the past 10 years she has developed and grown the use of electronic newsletters to promote Assistance League’s Thrift Shop sales every week as well as the annual holiday craft sale, Boutique Noël. She has been instrumental in securing government grants to fund the group’s Operation School Bell® program and has helped set the direction of the organization through her leadership on the Strategic Planning, Marketing and Resource Development committees. Her fellow members highly respect Vaughn for her communication skills that always provide just the right touch of humor and kindness at installation events and member tributes.
