Assistance League of Orange is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization comprised of volunteers who bring their talents and abilities together to fulfill the mission of providing assistance to those in need in the Orange community.

Membership is open to those who have the time and passion to volunteer.  Our programs are tailored to the needs of our community and provide the perfect venue to serve those around us.

Membership Levels and Requirements

  • Attend regular, annual and special chapter meetings
  • Work one (1) shift per month at the Thrift Shop
  • Participate in and support the philanthropic programs and fundraising activities of the chapter
  • Actively serve on at least one (1) committee per year
  • Pay annual dues of $85
  • Same as Active members, but only work 6 shifts per year in the Thrift Shop
  • Must be employed 20 hours or more per week, parents of young children or parents of Assisteens® for this membership.
  • Must be a parent or guardian of an Assisteen for this type of membership
  • Serve on the Assisteens Committee
  • Assist with a chapter philanthropic program
  • Assist with chapter fundraising activities
  • Work at least one (1) shift in the Thrift Shop per year
  • Pay annual dues of $50

Membership Applications

Membership applications are accepted throughout the year.  Training begins in January and June.
