Serving Neighbors Around Pasadena (SNAP!) provides aid in response to identified and emerging community needs that are not met by our current programs. Each year Assistance League of Pasadena finds out what is needed in our community (and sometimes around the world) and then quickly gathers donations for that event. We often work with other local nonprofits to quickly address problems in our community.

Past SNAP! projects included:

  • Collecting school supplies and backpacks for the Friends in Deed annual school supply distribution;
  • Providing food and clothing to the Pasadena Senior Center food pantry;
  • Supplying diaper and diaper supplies to the Families Forward Learning Center;
  • Collecting toys for the Friends in Deed Holiday Toy Drive;
  • Providing gift cards for PUSD students-in-need during COVID, and
  • Collecting and sending clothing to a school for Ukrainian refugees.
