In Uplifting Others, We All Rise

Assistance League® of the Eastside strives to serve the immediate, unmet needs of children and adults challenged by hardship or violence, strengthening our community while fostering dignity, confidence, and hope.

OUR PROGRAMS

Operation School Bell®

Operation School Bell® supports the belief that new school clothing and essential living needs, and the resulting increase in self-esteem and school attendance, contributes to a strong foundation for a child’s successful educational experience. Each year, through this program, volunteers deliver vouchers for children and their families, who are selected by school personnel, from school districts on the Eastside.

Assault Survivor Kits®

Assault Survivor Kits® helps to restore dignity to survivors of assault by providing essential personal care and new clothing to replace items retained as evidence by law enforcement officers. Volunteers prepare and deliver the kits to hospitals throughout 35+ counties in Washington State where they are distributed by forensic nurses.

Starting Over Support

Starting Over Support working together with local agencies, we provide baskets of basic household items for individuals and families fleeing domestic violence, enabling them to begin new lives in safe, violence-free housing. We also provide secure opportunities throughout the year to support family relationships through social events.

Help4Homeless

Help4Homeless works together with local agencies to provide daily living items and support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Our Help4Homeless program is committed to assisting those without permanent shelter as they move through this very difficult time.
