Membership Requirements

Voting Members:
  • Pay annual chapter dues ($75.00)
  • Attend chapter meetings as required for necessary quorums
  • Participate in and support the philanthropic programs and fundraising activities of he chapter
  • Have the right to vote and hold office
Nonvoting Members:
  • Support the mission of the chapter
  • Pay annual chapter dues ($85)
  • May maintain nonvoting status after one year of voting status
  • Participate in and support philanthropic programs
  • Attend chapter meetings as desired
  • Support and attend fundraising events as desired
Community Associates:
  • Pay annual chapter dues ($250)
  • Not hold office
  • Attend chapter meetings as desired
  • Be extended invitations to social and fundraising events.

 Membership Applications

Membership applications are accepted at any time.  Prospective new members will be contacted to schedule an orientation.  New members must join as voting members ($75) the first year.

Assistance League of Visalia is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that is comprised of multi-talented volunteers working together to fulfill its mission. We are an organization whose 76 members volunteered 2874 hours last year. Our volunteers are dedicated to improving the lives of Tulare County residents.

Membership is open to those who wish to be of service to our community and have the time, creativity and passion to volunteer.  The joy of giving is expressed through extraordinary programs chosen to meet the specific needs of our community.
