This spring, Assistance League of Bend directed several impactful initiatives to serve families throughout Deschutes County. We provided emergency clothing bundles to children in foster care, distributed new books to low-income students to promote literacy, and loaned formal wear to high school students.

We also continued our important work supporting seniors by supplying hygiene kits to Medicaid recipients in long-term care facilities, and lovingly knitting and sewing hats for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
