Cinderella’s Closet: Looking for a Prom or Homecoming Dress?

High school girls are invited to check out the huge selection of new and gently used long and short formal dresses at Cinderella’s Closet. Hundreds of dresses, as well as shoes, jewelry, purses and other accessories, are available to borrow for the big event..

Cinderella’s Closet is located at the Assistance League of Bend Chapter House at  210 SE Urania Lane.  When visiting this location, a completed permission slip signed by the student’s parent or guardian is required. Cinderella’s Closet Permission Slip.

Assistance League volunteers also coordinate “pop-up events” at high school campuses in Bend. The “pop-up events” offer a selection of over 100 dresses and are held on campus during lunch and after school. Look for dates and more details at each high school location.

Borrowed dresses and accessories can be returned to the high school or dropped off at the Assistance League of Bend Chapter House.

Contact Cinderella’s Closet for more information, or if interested in donating dresses, shoes, jewelry and other accessories.

Thanks to generous grants from community supporters, and the Deschutes County community, Cinderella’s Closet has been loaning dresses to high school girls since April 2018. Additional thanks to the Family Access Network advocates who fully support this program and help communicate its benefits to the community, and to Cathy’s Cleaners, a local dry cleaning company, who provides complimentary cleaning of the dresses.
