Looking for a Prom Dress?

Prom can be a milestone in a young person’s life and Cinderella’s Closet can help Deschutes County students have a magical evening that might not otherwise be possible. High school students are invited to check out the large selection of new and gently-used long and short formal dresses at Cinderella’s Closet. Hundreds of dresses, as well as shoes, jewelry, purses and other accessories, are available to Bend area students to BORROW for the big event.

Cinderella’s Closet is currently closed and will open for Spring Prom 2024. Dates will be posted on this website and at Deschutes County High Schools.

Cinderella’s Closet is located at the Assistance League of Bend Chapter House at  210 SE Urania Lane, Bend. When visiting this location, a completed permission slip signed by the student’s parent or guardian, is required. Cinderella’s Closet Permission Slip.

Returning Borrowed Items

Borrowed dresses and accessories should be returned in the drop box on the front porch of the Assistance League of Bend Chapter House within three days after your school’s event or brought back to the boutique during the hours we are open for Prom. Returning borrowed items as early as possible ensures students with later prom dates have more to choose from.

Contact Cinderella’s Closet for more information.

We are accepting donations of formal long and short dresses that are clean and in good condition. We are not accepting velvet, bridal dresses, skirts, tops, pants, or dresses that are more than 5 years old.  We are accepting dressy shoes in size 8 and larger. Donations can be left in the drop box on the front porch of the chapter house. Please leave your contact information if you would like a receipt for your donation.

Thanks to generous grants from community supporters, and the Deschutes County community, Cinderella’s Closet has been loaning dresses to high school students since April 2018. Additional thanks to the Family Access Network advocates who fully support this program and help communicate its benefits to the community.
