We Support CASA

Children enter foster care because of adult abuse and/or neglect. They lose contact with family, friends, pets and school.  Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Volunteers provide stable and consistent care, companionship, and mentoring during this difficult time and beyond. On October 8, thirty-six school children and their parents from the Martinez and Mount Diablo Unified School Districts shopped at Burlington Pleasant Hill as part of our Operation School Bell® program. Rotary Assists our Clothing Program

On September 29, Community Partners from Walnut Creek Rotary assisted Assistance League Diablo Valley Operation School Bell volunteers in providing uniforms for schoolchildren in Mt. Diablo and Pittsburg school districts.  Each child’s family placed orders for clothing through the school, and volunteers assembled the ordered uniforms into personalized reusable tote bags. We Partner With Burlington For New School Clothes

In partnership with Burlington in Pleasant Hill, the Assistance League Diablo Valley program OBS Clothing Retail Shopping provides new school clothes to elementary children from 18 schools in the Martinez, Mt Diablo and Walnut Creek School districts.
