- Operation Bookshelf serves those homebound patrons of the Eugene Public Library who cannot get to the library in person to select their reading or entertainment materials.
- In concert with the Library staff, Assistance League of Eugene volunteers load into their vehicles and personally deliver them to individuals’ homes or apartments.
- Volunteer members then return the books and other materials the following month when they drop off the new supply.
- The library patrons are very appreciative of this service and interactions with Assistance League of Eugene members.
