Donate to Thrift Shop

Donations accepted on Tuesday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Donated items should be separated: Men’s & women’s clothing (no hangers or shoe boxes, please), home decor, accessories, shoes, etc.
• When you arrive, your acceptable items will be unloaded and placed into our bins or onto our carts.
• All plastic bags will be returned to you; boxes and paper bags may be kept at the discretion of our volunteers. Please be prepared to wait during the unloading process.
• A tax-deductible receipt will be provided.

We accept items in clean and good condition:

• Men’s and women’s clothing
• Shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories
• Household items: dishes, beverage ware, utensils, pots, pans
• Glassware, e.g. drinking glasses, stemware, candy dishes, serving pieces, creamer and sugar sets.
• Linens: sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads, tablecloths, napkins and towels
• Textiles/fabrics
• Lamps
• Home Decor including baskets, decorative pillows, and picture frames
• Books and magazines (no older than 3 mos.)
• Art – any type, e.g. framed/unframed, garden, etc.
• Luggage
• Greeting cards, wrapping paper and ribbon
• Holiday items; craft items

We do not accept the following:

• Old, Worn, dirty, or damaged goods of any kind
• Toys
• Children’s clothing
• Headboards and bed frames
• Futons/hide-a-beds
• Curtains/rods/blinds
• Bed pillows/mattresses
• Electronic devices: computers, phones, video, TVs and stereos
• Small electrical items of any kind
• Camping gear (tents, sleeping bags, camp stoves, etc.)
• Outdated books/textbooks/bibles
• Medical equipment
• Pet supplies
• Underwear
• Used socks
• Christmas lights
• Sharp knives, e.g. kitchen, sporting, etc.
• DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records
• China sets
• Silver plate flatware and serving pieces
• Rugs
• Tools
• Sporting goods
• Women’s bathing suits
• Men’s suits

We no longer accept furniture for our Thrift shop.  To donate furniture please send a photo of your items to consignment@algpdx.org.

Donations left outside of the building will be discarded.
