High School Scholarship Application – 2022
Deadline: April 15, 2022


Assistance League of Irvine (ALI) is offering needs-based scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend Irvine Valley College starting academic year 2022. One qualified (1) graduating senior from each of the Irvine Unified School District High Schools (Creekside, Irvine, Northwood, Portola, University, Woodbridge and Virtual Academy) will be awarded a minimum $1000 scholarship. Additional scholarships will be awarded to qualifying graduating IUSD seniors planning to attend Irvine Valley College, without respect to high school of attendance, as funds are available.

We are a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization that has served the unmet needs of children and adults in the Irvine area for the past 30 years. We are pleased to have the resources to assist worthy high school seniors, from Irvine schools, to realize their dream of attending Irvine Valley College.


Eligibility
  • Be currently enrolled in an Irvine Unified School District High School, graduating June 2022
  • Acceptance & enrollment at Irvine Valley College by May 15, 2022
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5

        The following supporting documentation must be submitted via email to HSScholarship@alirvine.org upon completing the online application
      • Official High School Transcripts
      • One letter of recommendation from a counselor or high school teacher
      • One letter of recommendation from another adult (non-family member)
      • Completed official government FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

    Your scholarship application will not be considered complete until all documents have been received

        Selection Process
        • Participate in a personal interview with members of Assistance League of Irvine
        • Use scholarship funds within one calendar year from the official award

        All documents must be received before 11:59 pm on April 15, 2022

        Incomplete applications will not be considered.

    The following must be scanned and emailed to HSScholarship@alirvine.org upon completing the online application. Your scholarship application will not be considered complete until all documents have been received. Please ensure your NAME is included in the subject line of the email submission.
