Assisteens® Auxiliary

Be Part of the Solution

Assisteens® is the youth auxiliary of Assistance League chapters. Assisteens provides volunteer opportunities for young people in grades 7 through 12. The goals are to develop a sense of community responsibility, selfreliance, personal responsibility, poise, public speaking, leadership skills and to support the chapter. Assisteens raise money in a variety of ways to fund ongoing Assistance League and Assisteens philanthropic programs that benefit their community.

Assisteens Auxiliary:
  • Students in seventh (7th) through twelfth (12) grades
  • Are encouraged to work half-day Saturday shifts in the thrift shop
  • Assist with philanthropic programs
  • Pay annual dues of $35

Mission:

Assistance League of Laguna Beach is a volunteer organization whose members put caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs.

Goals:

Assure continuity of leadership
Identify and support community and Assistance League needs
Recruit and maintain membership
Enhance and protect our resources
Promote our identity
