ALNC is very grateful to Jeffery Campbell, his wife Judith, and two other members of the Judith Campbell Education and Community Foundation who presented our president Nancy Schaefer and president elect, Krista Ross, a check for $15,000. Angela Bear, our grant writer committee chair, wrote the grant which included some of the board of directors’ goals for this year. $6,000 will go toward scholarships for students at continuation high schools, $2,000 will go to schools to include Special Education students in reading incentive programs. $2,000 will go toward emergency clothing and $5,000 to other Operation School Bell programs as needed. This is the fifth year in a row we have been honored to receive the Judith Campbell Foundation Award.
