Assistance League North Coast Endowment Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to enable Assistance League North Coast, by setting aside assets forever, to fulfill its mission more completely by developing its programs beyond what is possible through annual operating funds. Distributions will be limited to: Assistance League North Coast capital improvement to the Thrift Shop; grants to Board approved Assistance League North Coast programs; seed money for new programs and special one-time projects, including building expenditures; and other purposes specifically designated by donors whose gifts are included within the Endowment Fund.
The Legacy Society consists of and honors those members/donors who have included Assistance League North Coast in their estate plans, such as a will or trust, and have stipulated that the gift go to the Assistance League North Coast Endowment Fund. It includes anyone who has: (1) submitted a Letter of Intent indicating Assistance League North Coast is in any way in their estate planning and indicating whether the gift should go into the Permanent Restricted or No Restriction Endowment Fund; (2) anyone who has stated in their will, without realizing the need for a Letter of Intent, that they are including Assistance League North Coast in any way in their estate planning.
Names of Legacy Society members are displayed on a Legacy Society plaque in the “Sparkle” House. In addition, names may be included in Splash articles, Gala programs and other Assistance League North Coast publications and only with the consent of the donor.
