November is almost over and the season of giving, gathering and celebrating is in full swing.  It’s time to join millions in the global generosity movement called Giving Tuesday.

For our Giving Tuesday campaign, we’re coming together to make a difference in our community, and we can’t do it without you!  From now until December 2, we’re raising funds so we can continue being a vital lifeline to children in nine local Title 1 elementary schools by providing essential support to students and their families.  Our programs address both basic needs, such as food, new clothing, shoes, books, and hygiene items,  and educational enrichment, to empower students for a brighter future.  An administrator at a school we serve said Assistance League of Northern Virginia is a beacon of hope, making a profound difference in the lives of students and embodying the spirit of compassion and empowerment.
