The 2020 Day of Authors event sponsored by Assistance League of Wichita and Watermark Books scheduled for October 10 is postponed until 2021. The changing circumstances regarding Covid-19 and the unpredictable environment as well as our continued focus on the health and safety of our guests motivated us to take the proactive step of postponing the 2020 event. We are publicizing the decision on several fronts but please pass the word to your friends and others who planned to attend this extraordinary community event. You are invited to Day of Authors, October 9, 2021 at the Wichita State James Rhatigan Center. Throughout the year, information briefs/videos will be shared as we prepare the same quality, interactive experience you have come to expect.
We are also taking this opportunity to share our new identity for the event! We are very excited about it and feel its vibrancy reflects the energy Day of Authors brings to our community. Thank you for your continued support for Day of Authors!

Building Community through Literacy
This special event brings 6 inspiring authors to Wichita to host small group sessions where they will share stories, answer questions, and autograph books. The day begins with a continental breakfast and a speaker followed by the opportunity to attend two break-out sessions, enjoy a delicious lunch, and hear another inspiring author as well as participate in a Q & A with a panel of all authors.
Scattered throughout the day is an opportunity to purchase the authors’ books and obtain autographs.
Your attendance benefits the four philanthropic programs of Assistance League Wichita:
