Who We Are

Assistance League of Bend is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization making a difference in the lives of children and adults dealing with poverty, homelessness, and cancer in Deschutes County.  We serve the community through a number of philanthropic programs which include new school clothes for students living in poverty, memory books for foster children, personal care items for low-income seniors, and handmade hats for cancer patients and the homeless.

Transforming Lives • Strengthening Community

COMMITTED TO MEETING ESSENTIAL NEEDS
Although some of our programs and fundraising efforts are on hold due to COVID-19, we remain committed to meeting the essential needs of students by creating new ways to deliver clothing, technology and supplies in a safe and effective manner.

POP-UP DISTRIBUTION EVENTS
Assistance League of Bend provided free socks, underwear, hats and gloves at Pop-up Distribution Events in the first phase of Operation School Bell ®. We are currently evaluating the results from our Community Assessment Survey and will use this input to determine what items to include in future Pop-up Distribution Events.
