Who We Are

Assistance League of Bend is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization making a difference in the lives of children and adults dealing with poverty, homelessness, and cancer in Deschutes County.  We serve the community through a number of philanthropic programs which include new school clothes for students living in poverty, memory books for foster children, personal care items for low-income seniors, and handmade hats for cancer patients and the homeless.

Fall 2019, Assistance League of Bend partnered with Walmart stores in Bend and Redmond.  The fall sessions were completed the end of October.  Approximately 2,150 students in the Bend-La Pine, Redmond and Sisters School Districts were provided with new school clothing.  A second session will take place in February 2020.
