Partnering with Wells Fargo: “Together We’ll Go Far”

On October 3, a contingent of employee volunteers from Wells Fargo Bank’s Commercial Banking division, arrived at the Assistance League Community Resource Center in Walnut Creek.  These volunteers knew firsthand how to make a difference.  On that day:they assembled 250 reusable bags of school clothing for delivery to Meadow Homes Elementary School in Concord as part of Operation School Bell, Assistance League’s philanthropic program serving school children.

Each bag contained:
~ six pairs of socks,
~ six pairs of underwear,
~ one sweatshirt,
~ two pairs of pants for boys or,
~ one pair of pants and one skort for the girls,
~ and three white, collared shirts
