This year’s Lit ‘n Lunch, “Murder, Mayhem, and Mystery,” features authors Dr. Vincent Di Maio and Ron Franscell,  Morgue: A Life in Death; John Schmutz, “The Bloody Fifth” — The 5th Texas Infantry Regiment, Hood’s Texas Brigade, Army of Northern Virginia; and Lee Robinson, Lawyer for the Cat. The authors’ books will be available for purchase and signing.  Also at the luncheon, a San Antonio Independent School District high school student who is recognized as a new literary talent will be presented with the Rising Star Award.  Bill Moll will be the master of ceremonies.

The cost of the luncheon is $65 per person and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets may be purchased by check made payable to Assistance League of San Antonio and mailed to Assistance League of San Antonio, P.O. Box 13130, San Antonio, Texas 78213-0130. Reservation deadline is January 21, 2017.
