During COVID our Caring Hands members continued to knit and crochet beautiful and cuddly layettes for the newborn babies at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Our chairman and 2 assistants proudly delivered 22 bags for a total of 330 completed layettes. Christina Egan, Volunteer Services Manager in charge of managing our Caring Hands Program at VMC, and five maternity ward and NICU nurses were there to excitedly accept our layettes.
