AL of San Jose gifts to every teacher in our Readers Are Leaders program a grant of $50 to purchase books to enhance their classroom libraries. Here’s a thank you we received from an Almaden School teacher that makes us smile with pride: “Look at what I got! More than 50 books!” Students gain more than just a love of reading from our gift, they also learn that helping others through donations makes a difference.
