By providing books to teachers and students, Readers are Leaders cultivates the love of reading and learning. During our 2021-2022 year, AL of San Jose donated 636 teacher books, 11,250 student books, 15,158 enrichments to approximately 1250 students in 53 classrooms in 10 elementary schools. 14 teachers rec’d $50 reimbursements for books.
