The 14 members of AL of San Jose’s Readers Are Leaders book selection committee met in July to review books for the 2022-23 school year. About 60 books of various topics, both fiction and nonfiction, were narrowed down to 12 books that will be read and donated to each classroom in the program. 55 classrooms will each receive 12 books for a total of 660 books. AND each student will also receive other books to keep and take home.
