Once a month our volunteers read to the children at Parisi House on the Hill. We also encourage the moms to read to their children and instruct them on the practices of early literacy which is so important to childhood development. This is part of our Assist-a-Shelter program but aligns with Readers Are Leaders, too. Today’s readers are tomorrow’s leaders!
