Why is Screening Eyes Early so important? It prevents amblyopia and vision loss, aids healthy brain development an promotes healthy social development. If you know of someone who is blind in one eye or had difficulty learning because a vision problem wasn’t detected early, join our Screening Eyes Early community program. This important service screens this vision of 3, 4 and 5 year-olds in our low-income preschools and refers for an eye exam when needed.
