Our Readers Are Leaders program challenges students to read a book and then think about the book. Every book our RAL volunteers read is accompanied by an activity to enrich the reading experience. Books for our March reading were “Knight Owl” by Christopher Denise and “maybe” by Kobi Yamada, illustrated by
Gabriella Barouch. The “Knight Owl” activity was a drawing game – students can create their own owl. The “maybe” activity asks students about their talents and interests and they can color the butterflies for fun. Do you like to read to kids? Join Us!
